Matt is a third generation Chicagoan who grew up on the north side of the city, and currently resides in the new east side. He specializes in the downtown and near north neighborhoods. Matt's computer science degree from DePauw University brought him to the real estate industry as a technical consultant for large brokerage firms. He soon found there was much that could be done to revolutionize the industry by bringing more information and capabilities online for clients to benefit from. As a real estate investor, he was drawn to the brokerage business and quickly real estate became his full time passion and career. After several years in the profession, Matt was approached by industry veteran Gerald Murphy, and together they launched Urban Real Estate.
