David is a Chicago native and has enjoyed the opportunity to live in many of the city’s neighborhoods. Before moving to the Northern suburbs of Glenview & Northbrook, he lived in Hyde Park on the South Side of Chicago and then moved back to the city to attend high school at Lane Technical High School in Roscoe Village. From there he went on to graduate from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and attend the University of Chicago. David obtained his law degree and started his own law firm handling residential real estate, business litigation, as well as injury cases.
Before joining Corcoran Urban Real Estate as a residential broker, David added brokerage services to his legal work and broadened his practice to include large commercial real estate deals. His experience as a commercial real estate broker has provided him with a multitude of skills that are essential to help clients buy and sell properties; including marketing, market analysis, offers to purchase, lender selection, contract negotiation, reviewing expert reports & insurance policies, and navigating the complex regulatory requirements which are involved with each specific sale or acquisition to the final close of a sale. Having enjoyed the challenge of shepherding large commercial deals to completion, David is now eager to bring the same dedication and attention to detail to the residential real estate world.
David is a lifelong tennis fan. When he is not working on closing a deal he can be found playing or traveling around the country to see tournaments. David has played since high school at the Midtown tennis club.
