Chicago has always been home for Erik Schwab. Raised on the city's northwest side and now working throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, Erik brings nearly two decades of local market knowledge and a genuine passion for helping people find their place in the city he loves.
Erik earned his real estate license in 2007 while studying History and Political Science at DePaul University. Starting his career during a rapidly changing market taught him lessons that still guide his business today: preparation matters, relationships matter, and informed clients make better decisions. Whether someone is buying their first condo, moving into a forever home, or building an investment portfolio, Erik enjoys helping clients navigate the process with confidence.
Before real estate, Erik worked as a Senate aide for the Illinois State Senate Assistant Majority Leader, gaining valuable experience solving problems, building relationships, and helping people navigate complex situations. Those same skills continue to serve his clients well today.
A longtime advocate for both homeowners and the real estate profession, Erik has been deeply involved with the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, serving on its Board of Directors and currently serving as president-elect.
When he's not working with clients, you'll likely find Erik at Wrigley Field cheering on the Cubs, catching a Blackhawks game, or exploring one of Chicago's many neighborhood festivals. His appreciation for Chicago's neighborhoods, people, and character is one of the reasons he enjoys helping clients discover where they feel most at home.
