Update: Please note initial walkthroughs will not be allowed prior to Nov. 28th due to ongoing construction. This is a custom build in the Westfield subdidvision of Des Plaines. First floor is being gut rehabbed, 2nd floor is new construction. Please note property is currently still under construction, and is estimated to be completed by the end of December. Current plan is to deliver a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom 2250 sq ft house, but an optional 5th bedroom can be added upon request. All 4 bedrooms are planned to be on the first floor, with only a loft on the 2nd floor. The loft can be extended to add to a vaulted master bedroom as per the photos with a slight price increase. The house originally was designed with true radiant heated floors, you can opt for either saltillo tile floors which will transmit the heat perfectly, or solid wood floors without the heated floor feature as depicted. 2nd floor will be solid hardwood, with a 400 sq ft lofted open area and a half bath. The first floor will have approximately 10' ceilings throughout, if no 2nd floor master is required the open kitchen/dining area can be vaulted cathedral style for an impressive 16' height all way up to roof ridge. Finishes are optional for kitchen, but plans are currently for butcher block countertops and white cabinets, cooktop, and a kitchen island with both a sink and a teppenyaki stainless steel griddle. In the rear patio area which isn't depicted, the asphalt driveway will be extended all the way to the garage doors and deck extending from the rear of the house to the front lawn. The garage is a true 2 car garage. A car charging port is also an option feature than can be installed for a slight increase in price, along with buried power lines. Please note the driveway is a shared driveway, and that Graceland Ave is a main street, so you must be ok with that. Excellent public and private options for education is available, with both Maine West (public), Notre Dame College Prep (private), and Willows Academy (private) all being highly ranked school systems. There are two beautiful lakes nearby, with Lake Park being a local favorite for picnics and Belleau Lake for fishing. Although Des Plaines is a suburb, this location is incredibly convenient. Metra is only a 10 min walk away, which allows you to be downtown in about 30 min. Jewel-Osco, Shop and Save, Aldi's, are all within 10 min walking distance. Allstate Arena, Rosemont Fashion Outlets, O'hare Airport, Rivers Casino are all within a 10 min drive. Offers subject to inspection and completion are welcome.
