At 211 North Harbor Drive, Cirrus rises 47 stories at one of Chicago’s most compelling geographic turns, where the river meets Lake Michigan and the New Eastside opens toward the lakefront. Completed in 2022, the 562-foot tower was developed by Lendlease and Magellan and designed by bKL Architecture. Its glass exterior brings a crisp vertical presence to the skyline, while landscaped public space by Claude Cormier + Associés and the adjoining terraced Cascade Park give the building a more human-scaled connection to the ground.

Cirrus contains 350 residences, from one- to four-bedroom layouts to penthouses across the upper six floors and two townhomes. Floor-to-ceiling glass, nine-foot ceilings, wide-plank flooring, custom closet systems, and keyless entry shape the interiors, with private balconies included in many plans. More than 48,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities unfold with unusual range: a spa and conservatory, massage suites, a 25-yard heated lap pool, hydrotherapy pool, fitness and motion studios, coworking areas, and spaces devoted to cooking, wine, music, film, golf, and hands-on projects. Outdoor areas extend from a pool deck with cabanas to a 41st-floor terrace with grilling stations and a fire pit.

The building’s LEED Gold, Fitwel, and ActiveScore Gold certifications reflect an emphasis on wellness, sustainability, and active transportation, supported by bicycle storage, repair and washing facilities, electric-vehicle charging, and a community garden. Beyond the tower, the Riverwalk, lakefront trail, Millennium Park, Maggie Daley Park, and Navy Pier place some of downtown Chicago’s most recognizable landscapes within close reach. Cirrus responds to that remarkable setting with equal attention to skyline scale and everyday detail: polished above, park-connected below, and unmistakably shaped by the water on either side.
