The area of the South Loop in downtown Chicago where 1401 s. State is located is called Museum Campus. It does not live down to the name. You will be close to major attractions that attract the whole world to the glamorous Chicago. Walk to the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium or Soldier Field. That is only naming a few. Grant Park is down the street and the magnificent Michigan Avenue is only a block west. Live around the corner of where former Mayor Richard M. Daley hung his coat up in his house. Many use the South Loop for its convenient location to Columbia College as well as the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the John Marshall school of Law.
1401 s. State is a modern loft construction with cement floors and curtain floor to ceiling windows in the units. You won’t be able to peel your eyes away from the views of Lake Michigan/Soldier Field/Willis Tower and other famous landmarks of Chicago. Gourmet kitchens with gas cooking and large counters make it easy for anyone to be a top chef in their own home. Enjoy the conveniences of having a washer/dryer in your unit and the large closets. The open loft style of theses units leaves an impression of an ever flowing living space. The two bedrooms however do have fully enclosed bedrooms.
Step outside of your room and get a sweat in the resident fitness center or pick up a coffee in the media room/café. Want a fresh breath of air? Step out onto your outdoor patio with barbeque grills for your convenience. There is even a dog run for those of you that have a dog in the building. There are no weight restrictions but there are breed restrictions. Live here and have one of the most unique and fun living experiences in Chicago.
