The retail development Block 37, in the heart of the Loop, will be receiving its long-awaited residential towers, Crain's Chicago Business is reporting today.
The apartment tower, which will be the largest built in the Loop in decades, will clock in at nearly 700 apartments (694, actually) in 34 stories. It will sit on top of the retail development.
Architects Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) are behind the glass tower design. The initial permits for the tower have already been approved.
The rendering, via SCB, matches up with an earlier render that appeared on Chicago's Curbed real estate website earlier this summer.
