Chicago's Biggest Open House Weekend

Chicago's Biggest Open House Weekend In real estate, we know, it's never too early to start thinking about the next open house.

That being said, there's nothing in the city that rivals the immense annual event Open House Chicago. Held each year by the Chicago Architecture Foundation, this year, on October 18 and 19, attendees will be able to peak inside 150 places across the city.

The event, which is free, will feature some great downtown buildings like Lake Point Tower, Inland Steel and the Chicago Board of Trade, offices like the architectural firm of Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill (they're behind some of the most high-profile towers constructed around the world), to architectural masterpieces like the Robie House and Elks Memorial, to businesses like Goose Island Brewery.

We didn't even mention the historic Glessner House on South Prairie and buildings in the renowned Pullman neighborhood.
