Yesterday we wrote about a report from Zillow that profiled Chicago's top neighborhoods for sellers. Four of those were no surprise, as they're currently among the city's trendiest.
Today, Chicago Agent Magazine reports about the city's top selling neighborhoods from the month of August; the distinction, of course, is where the most sales are happening and not necessarily those neighborhoods where seller's have a greater advantage.
According to Chicago Agent Magazine, the Near North Side led the city both in terms of total sales (268) and attached homes sales (260). It was following in both categories by West Town, Lincoln Park and Lakeview.
Detached homes sales were a different picture. The top-selling neighborhoods have far less inventory in the category than the leaders which were Ashburn, Portage Park and Dunning.
