Tour A Chicago Landmark Under Conversion

Tour A Chicago Landmark Under Conversion Chicago has been making headlines all over the world for its great architecture generation after generation. The city's architects lead construction of ground-breaking projects all over the world and our locally built skyscrapers grab attention too.

But the vintage buildings around the city are an important part of the urban fabric as well - so it's great to see one of them being repurposed as well as the landmark Old Colony Building in the Printer's Row area just south of the Loop.

Chicago's Curbed reporter recently toured the building, which is under renovation and restoration for student housing. They site the building's "amazing details" which include intricate metal work, stairways and door knobs emblazoned with the building's initials, "OCB."

Take the tour be heading over to Curbed here.
