Chicago Real Estate website Curbed has unveiled a new map charting the course of the relatively new concept in development, the Transit-Oriented Development or "TOD."
The term applies to a new type of residential development, typically limited to the areas in Chicago within a few hundred feet of a train station, a TOD lowers the overall number of parking spaces required for a development and increases its overall residential density as a result.
