This week news broke that another luxury high rise is coming to Chicago's Gold Coast.
The Chicago Architecture Blog recently uncovered information (which was later covered and substantiated by several other media outlets) that JDL Development is proposing a new tower for the southwest corner of Walton and State, which is currently an empty lot.
The 34-story tower will feature, however, just two units per floor for a total of 67 residences.
Crain's reported today that buyers have already secured 22 of the units that will be built and that the developer is aiming for "ultra luxury." They will range in price from $1.9 to $9 million each.
