This month's numbers not only allow us to rank the city's top-selling neighborhoods, but also gives us some good news buried in the data.
The Near North Side again led the pack, with 298 sales for the month. They were followed by West Town with 220 sales and the South Loop with 121 sales. The top-selling Near North Side also saw a jump in volume of more than 14 percent.
When adjusting for single-family home sales, the far Northwest Side was king, with Portage Park leading with 47 sales, followed by Norwood Park and Garfield Ridge with 42 sales each.
But fourth place Ashburn saw a jump in sales volume of just over 70 percent.
