The Gold Coast will soon be seeing a new, 28-story tower rising in its midst.
The plan from developer Lexington Homes will add a glass tower to the surface parking lot at 1010-1028 N. Dearborn. The project will be comprised of 50 condos that will be offered for sale, a departure from the recent spate of residential rentals being construted in the city. The developer has officially closed on the land and with their city approvals proceeding, the project could break ground soon.
The design for the tower was handled by Chicago's Pappageorge Haymes Partners.
