Naperville looks to bring new housing options, including condos and apartments, to the Naperville Crossing shopping center area, in hopes of creating a second "downtown" community feel, according to the Daily Herald.

The West Loop has unveiled its newly opened bow-truss library, as spectacular new branch opened by the Chicago Public Library is now open to serve residents of Chicago. Located in the space formerly owned by the Oprah Show at Harpo Studios, the "16,500-square-foot space features flexible work spaces, a recording studio, early childhood play area, and state-of-the-art multimedia offerings an including a digital lab featuring coding and design software," according to Curbed Chicago.
