Chicago-area home sales down 9% in January... Matt Farrell, president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS, said he expects a strong spring, but it's unlikely to be a repeat of last year . "Last year we had five years' (worth) of people waiting to do something," he said. "This year we'll get the people who waited for last year to happen but it won't be the same drastic results as last year."
